he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
would like to ask that everyone please pray for Sam McLellan, Class of 1971. Sam has been diagnosed
with liver cancer. The family has been blessed with the opportunity to recieve a 2nd opinion/further medical advice
from a physician at Ochsner in New Orleans next week. Please pray also for his family, his wife, Quinn (Cunningham Angell)
and his step-children, Riley and Sadie. The family has requested that his name and the name of his family also be added to
the prayer lists of as many churches as we can reach. We need our Trojan family to help spread the word.

are so proud of our students at CHCS. They stuffed 63 shoeboxes for operation "Shoebox" and prepared a huge
box of food to be given to a needed family. Thank you to Mike Cronin and Younglife for organizing this each year and
also to our parents, students, and teacher who brought items used to prepare these much needed boxes.

CHCS Varsity Cheerleaders
Win State "A" Title
We are so proud of our High School Cheerleaders. They competed
in the State MAIS Cheer Competition in Jackson on Wednesday, October 30th. Our squad won the State "A" Division.
These girls and their sponsors have worked countless hours preparing for this competition. They have battled through
many injuries, before school practices, and after school practices which sometimes went really late. Not only are these
girls great cheerleaders they are outstanding role models to our younger students. They are excellent students and truly
great respresentatives for Central Holmes Christian School. Pictured in the photo: Row 1 - Kassidy Winstead, Haley Blain,
Madison Allyn Marshall, Terrell Wynne; Row 2 - Hallie Murtagh, Maggie Melton, Payton Netherland, London Steverson, Alyssa
McLemore, Katelyn Winstead, Swayze Gardner, Ana-Claire Edwards, and Shelby Turner. Rebecca Wynn Johnson is a member
of this squad but due to an injury during Tuesday night's basketball she was unable to compete. We wish Rebecca a speedy recovery.
The cheerleader sponsor is Ms. Kristie Marshall. We would also like the thank Ms. Sheryll Murtagh, last year's sponsor,
for all the help and hard work that she contributed to this squad's success.
We are proud to announce that Central Holmes was chosen as "Best
School" by the readers of the Star Herald. Thank you to all who voted for our wonderful school. This is indeed
